Gluten-Free Recipe - Hamburger Buns For the Summer BBQ

,
Paleo Recipe :

BBQ season is upon us. For those of us living with Celiac Disease or an intolerance to gluten, it can be trying times.

Gluten-Free Recipe - Hamburger Buns For the Summer BBQ

Celiac Disease, a serious condition overlooked in this country, prevents the body from absorbing needed vitamins and minerals. It is a disease caused by a reaction to gliadin, a gluten protein found in wheat.

According to recent statistics, one in 133 people live with Celiac Disease, biggest problem being the majority of people do not know they are allergic to gluten. (The ImmunoCap blood test can now detect an allergy to wheat. Ask your doctor.) Perhaps a family member or friend of yours live with this condition. Then you can relate to how they feel excluded in social events with food that is just not within their diet.

If you live with Celiac Disease, remember how great it once was to chomp on a grilled hamburger bun? The ketchup, mustard, oh and don't forget to relish the relish! They don't have to be memories now with this fantastic gluten-free hamburger bun recipe below.

Here are the ingredients you will need:

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 4 cups gluten-free French Bread/Pizza Mix
  • 4.5 teaspoon gluten-free yeast
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2/3 cup powdered milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 teaspoon of cold-pressed olive oil

Mix the top 5 ingredients. Heat water to 110-115 degrees. Add butter and olive oil. Beat the eggs. Add to liquids. Beat to mix.

Add to remaining dry ingredients and beat for about 2 minutes high speed. Cover tightly and let rise for 40 minutes or until doubled in size. Beat for 2 minutes. Dough should be soft and sticky now.

Preheat over to 350 degrees. Grab a sheet of aluminim foil. Prepare strips of round aluminum foil and seal by crimping the ends. Lightly scoop the dough and scoop out enough to fill the little aluminim foil rings. Rub olive oil on the bottom of a fat drinking glass and gently press on the dough to evenly smooth the top. Now cover with plastic wrap and let rise to the top of the foil rings. Brush gently tops with olive oil before baking. Then bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden color of liking.

Fire up the all natural low-fat burgers and delicious vegetables on the grill and you are set. Now anyone living a gluten-free lifestyle can be included at your next backyard BBQ.

Best Fresh Salsa Recipe

,
Paleo Recipe :

Here is the best salsa recipe I have ever made.

Best Fresh Salsa Recipe

My family does not even like regular jar or store bought salsa anymore. I use to make salsa and cook the ingredients on the stove but once was in a hurry and just used everything straight from the garden, after a little washing. The result was a flavor burst in my mouth with all the wonderful flavors that were not toned down by cooking them away.

Hope you enjoy and give me your comments.

8 tomatoes

3 green peppers

4 jalapeno peppers (you can remove some or add some depending on your taste)

1 small onion

Garlic cloves or minced garlic

salt

Olive Oil

Parsley

Lemon or lime juice

Cut off the tops of the green peppers and remove seeds. Cut off the tops of the jalapenos but do not remove seeds. Cut the outer skin off the onion and cut in four sections.

Place these items in a food processor and run until everything is small. I usually do not leave big chunks of the jalapeno as small chopped bits blend better and give flavor throughout the salsa.

Drop in 1 teaspoon on minced garlic. You can use the stuff out of the jar from the store or put in 2 whole cloves.

Wash the tomatoes and cut off the tops and cut them in half our fourths and put them in the food processor on top of the already chopped up peppers and onions.

Process these until the tomatoes are well chopped. Open the food process and remove the container and put a strainer in your sink and pour the mixture from the processor into the strainer and let strain all the excess liquid from the tomatoes. I usually use my well washed hand in their to stir up the salsa and speed up the process but you can use a big spoon. When Most of the excess liquid is gone dump the strainer mixture into a bowl or container.

Add 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon dried parsley, 3 to 4 tablespoons lemon or lime juice. I prefer lime juice but once ran out and used lemon juice and it worked just as well. I use the bottled juice but it you have fresh it would be even better. Add 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.

Stir everything together with a spoon and quickly get out your chips and get some because as soon as your family knows you have homemade salsa made it will not be around for very long.

The Paleo Diet - Great Recipe Examples

,
Paleo Recipe :

The "Paleolithic Diet" refers to a hunter-gatherer type diet, where all processed, unnatural foods are completely eliminated, and everything consumed consists of animal proteins (anything one would be able to "hunt), and vegetables/fruits/plants (anything one would be able to "gather."). This allows its follower to stay satisfied, often eating more food than ever before, while remaining very lean and often gaining strength and muscle.

The Paleo Diet - Great Recipe Examples

We'll discuss this diet in detail in another article, but in this one, I'd like to share three of my favorite recipes that are fully compliant with the diet. Best Sugar Cookie Recipe?

,
Paleo Recipe :

There is nothing like a great sugar cookie recipe. Don't buy the roll of Pillsbury Dough, you can make a superb cookie that will remind you of the days when Grandma made them.

Best Sugar Cookie Recipe?

Grandma used to sit by the fire and drink her tea and Grandpa used to sip his coffee made from his French Press, before it was trendy. I loved seeing them sit there enjoying the day. When we walked in the house there were smells coming from the kitchen you just couldn't imagine. The sweet smell of warm sugar cookies invaded your senses. You knew today was going to be a treat.

It was a tradition that we enjoyed every year. The kitchen was filled with flour storms and the counters were sticky from Buttercream frosting. We had tin cookie cutters spread all over the table. I liked the boot best, my sister liked the angel.

Grandma had a special way with those cookies and she handed down the recipe to me. I was to teach my kids how to make these wonderful holiday sweets. It wouldn't be Christmas time without this recipe of Yummy cookies.
I am publishing it because I want you to enjoy the best sugar cookie recipe ever.

Grandma's Favorite Sugar Cookie

1 cup white sugar

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup butter

2 eggs beaten

1 tsp cream of tarter

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp vanilla

4 cups flour

½ cup corn oil

Cream the sugars and butter together. Mix the beaten eggs, vanilla and corn oil, in. Add the dry ingredients .Mix all the ingredients well and chill overnight.
Bake at 375 F for 8-10 minutes....DO NOT OVERCOOK.

We used to make the funniest colors to decorate the cookies, most of them looked inedible. They tasted heavenly, though. We figured if we made them look gross enough, the adults would leave them alone. We were wrong. Everyone knew they were Grandma's famous sugar cookies from her handed down recipe book. This page was splattered with all sorts of colors. I have that book now. I love making these cookies with my kids.

Grandma's Favorite Frosting (don't forget the food coloring)

2 cups of powdered sugar

½ cup butter melted

1 ½ T Milk

1 tsp vanilla

Cream sugar, butter and vanilla. Add a small amount of milk (1 to 2 tablespoons). Beat until fluffy. If frosting is too sweet add a little more milk.

Try it this season. Enjoy your family and brew some wonderful tea or coffee and relax. Take the time to make memories with your family or neighbors or friends.

The Beyonce's Master Cleanser Recipe For Rapid Weight Loss

,
Paleo Cookie Recipe :

Beyonce did a live confession on Opera that she lost 22 pounds in 14 days with the Master Cleanser recipe. Robin Quivers lost 70 lbs in an extended version of the Master Cleanser recipe. Since then, this detox program has helped more individuals to lose weight quickly than any other weight loss program in the market.

The Beyonce's Master Cleanser Recipe For Rapid Weight Loss

So you might ask what exactly the Master Cleanser recipe is. Invented in 1941 by natural health enthusiast, Stanley Burroughs, the Master Cleanser recipe was intended for detoxification, to cleanse the body of deadly toxins. However, many experience rapid weight loss during the detox process.

The Master Cleanser recipe and ingredients are as follows:

- 2 Tablespoons of organic lemon juice - This lemon juice must be freshly squeezed. Canned juice will only erase most of the benefits of the diet because it usually contains a lot of sugar and other additives. Fresh, natural, organic lemon juice is ideal.

- 2 Tablespoons of organic grade B maple syrup - It is best to avoid imitation maple syrup for it contains additives and lacks the nutrients the body needs.

- 1/10 Teaspoon ground cayenne pepper - This may be a turn off to most people who are worried about how it will make the drink taste, but the lemon juice and syrup counteract the taste of the pepper.  There are really no limitations on the cayenne pepper since when you buy it it is in its purest form.

- 10 oz of filtered water - Filtered water or bottled water is better to use than tap water because of all the contaminants in tap water.

Is the Master Cleanser Recipe safe? The all-natural, organic ingredients cause no harm to the body. Furthermore, health expert, Dr. Mehmet Oz, host of the Discovery Channel's, "The Truth About Foods" announced on Opera his findings that the program is not only safe but effective in helping anyone lose weight and detox. Similar claims of the effectiveness and safeness are further substantiate by Mayo Clinic's Dr. Michael Picco as well.

You might be tempted to take the Master Cleanser recipe and try it the next day which often leads to mediocre or even poor results. You see, knowing the recipe and doing it are slightly different things. If you desire to get concrete, good results right from your very first try, I suggest you take the advice of veteran Master Cleanser, Katie Jones.

She has helped many individuals to prep, do and finish the program with ease. Her best-selling "Master Cleanse Insider" is used by newbie and veteran Master Cleansers before they start on the 10 day cleanse program.

1 ½ cups whole wheat flour.

Place water in a medium mixing bowl. Sprinkle dry yeast into to bowl and let stand until yeast dissolves (five minutes or so). Add salt, sugar, and vinegar to bowl. Mix well.

Sift together soy and gluten flours together. Slowly add to the yeast mixture in the bowl.

Sift whole wheat flour and add it to mixture in bowl. Turn mixture slowly until dough sticks together (and not to sides of bowl). If you have a mixer or food processor that has dough hooks, these help tremendously with the mixing.

Lightly flour a board or other surface. Scoop dough into ball with floured hands and place on surface. Knead for five minutes until dough is smooth and elastic.

Place into small bread pan that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Adjust dough to fit shape of pan (loaf shape). Do not try to touch dough all the way to sides of pan. Cover with slightly dampened towel and set in a warm place (free from drafts) to rise. Let rise for two to three hours until dough has at least doubled in size and reaches top of bread pan.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Bake bread in preheated oven for one hour or until light golden brown.
